FBI agents to testify at Madigan trial
FBI agents are taking the stand Monday as the corruption trial against former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan continues.
So far, FBI agents have testified about the search of codefendant Michael McClain’s home and the documents found in the home. More testimony is expected this afternoon.
Trains strikes pedestrian on Metro Milwaukee line
Metra announced service has been halted on the Milwaukee District North line “due to a pedestrian being struck.”
The transportation agency said inbound trains were halted near Grayslake and outbound trains were halted near Glenview. Extensive delays are anticipated. Updates are provided at Metra.com.
4-H awards members
Ten Illinois 4-H members are receiving the Illinois Sustaining the Future Awards.
The awards are for those in the organization that exemplify outstanding leadership within the agricultural industry and demonstrate a desire to remain engaged. Recipients are invited to a leadership conference in April.
Award recipients are: Amanda Niemann, Montgomery County, Caleb Zwilling, Champaign County, Ellis Rogers, Knox County, Faustina Krysciak, Kendall County, Hayley Lair, Adams County, Kamber Kilgus, Livingston County, Kristina Morrow, Logan County, Mason Hilmes, Clinton County, Owen Kocher, Richland County and Taylor Crouch, Macon County.
