(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Associate Editor Greg Bishop shares a conversation with New Illinois Chairman G.H. Merritt about an upcoming convention for her group and the overall movement to split the state into two.
Bishop also reviews some of the back and forth over the issue of ethics at the Illinois Statehouse in the aftermath of former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan being found guilty of corruption. Republicans call for action and the Democratic chair of the ethics committee urging them to continue having conversations.
