(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Associate Editor Greg Bishop takes a look at the proposed Illinois Homeschool Act that’s set for a public hearing Wednesday morning and the flood of witness slips filed by the public in opposition to the proposed regulations.
Bishop also reviews some of the possible legislation that could be heard Tuesday afternoon at the Illinois Statehouse impacting the state’s gun owners, including requiring fingerprints and a Firearm Owner’s ID card to get a flamethrower.
There’s further review of other legislation that could be brought up at the Illinois Statehouse, including measures impacting pets and criminal justice single-use plastics.
