Former President Donald Trump said Thursday that he won’t participate in any future debates with Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the Nov. 5 election.
Trump had already cast doubt on the prospect of another debate after lackluster showing against Harris earlier this week on ABC.
Trump made it clear Thursday it wouldn’t happen again: “There will be no third debate!” he wrote in all caps on his social media platform Truth Social.”
“Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate,” Trump wrote. “She was a no-show at the Fox Debate, and refused to do NBC & CBS. KAMALA SHOULD FOCUS ON WHAT SHE SHOULD HAVE DONE DURING THE LAST ALMOST FOUR YEAR PERIOD.”
Harris called for another debate.
“I believe we owe it to the voters to have another debate,” she said Thursday in North Carolina.
