With nearly two decades of clinical experience and a unique track record of practicing in more than 300 dental offices, Dr. Shah has emerged as a leading voice on how AI can responsibly transform diagnostics, treatment planning, and practice management while preserving the central role of the clinician and the primacy of patient care.

Dr. Shah is the founder of Desert Dream Dentistry & Spa and the Global Summits Institute, and cofounder of the Healthcare Intelligence Board. His work brings together clinicians, scientists, technologists, and policy leaders from around the world to shape practical, ethical frameworks for AI adoption in healthcare.  Dr. Kianor Shah is the Founder of the 2026 Global Medical-Dental AI Summit, an international initiative dedicated to developing a physician- and dentist-led framework for the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in healthcare. The summit seeks to advance global collaboration in education, regulation, advocacy, public policy, standards development, and administrative governance of AI in medicine and dentistry, ensuring that healthcare professionals play a central role in shaping the future of clinical technology worldwide.

“Artificial intelligence represents one of the most profound inflection points in the history of healthcare,” said Dr. Shah. “This recognition is not about technology for its own sake, it is about ensuring that AI elevates patient outcomes, strengthens clinical judgment, and expands access to care without compromising ethics, safety, or professional integrity. I am honored to receive the IOFP 2026 Award and remain deeply committed to building bridges between innovators, regulators, and practitioners around the world.”

The IOFP 2026 Award shines a spotlight on professionals whose work transcends traditional silos and creates measurable, realworld impact. In Dr. Shah’s case, that impact spans clinical dentistry, education, entrepreneurship, and global convening from the operatory to the policy arena.

In addition to his leadership in AI and global convenings, Dr. Shah’s credentials reflect deep clinical expertise and lifelong commitment to professional excellence. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University and an MBA in International Business from Brandman University. He holds Mastership and Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a fellow of both the California Implant Institute and a regent of the International Academy of Dental-Facial Esthetics.

Fluent in English, German, and Farsi, Dr. Shah is an active public speaker and global traveler, frequently engaging interdisciplinary audiences on the future of AI in dentistry and medicine. He is a vocal advocate for using artificial intelligence to enhance—not replace—clinical expertise, improve practice efficiency, and expand patient access to high-quality, ethical care.
