MEDIA ALERT / PRESS RELEASE

LOS ANGELES, CA — AUGUST 11, 2026 — Some people collect stamps in their passports.

Tania Anderson collected stories.

From flying around the world as an international flight attendant for the legendary Pan American World Airways, to transporting military personnel, refugees, VIPs, medical teams and even the White House press corps, Anderson has spent a lifetime experiencing the world from a perspective few people will ever know.

Now, those experiences are coming to life in a new way.

Tania Anderson is the host of “The Global Gratitude Show,” an international-minded program built around fascinating people, extraordinary experiences, remarkable journeys, and the simple but powerful idea of gratitude.

Anderson brings something to the microphone that cannot be manufactured: a lifetime of stories.

A Life Measured in Continents, Not Miles

After earning bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and International Studies from American University in Washington, D.C., Anderson was hired by Pan American World Airways as an international flight attendant.

That opportunity changed the trajectory of her life.

Her airline career would eventually take her far beyond traditional passenger flights. Anderson flew VIP charters, the White House press corps, military personnel, refugees, religious pilgrims, film crews, convicts and medical transplant teams.

As she jokingly puts it, she flew “everything” — with one notable exception.

Her adventures have included some of the world’s most consequential moments.

During the First Gulf War, Anderson flew troops toward the war zone under the threat of possible SCUD missile attacks. In 1991, the United States Air Force awarded her the Civilian Desert Shield and Desert Storm Medal for Outstanding Achievement.

Decades later, her work again intersected with world history.

In 2021, Anderson participated in flights transporting Ukrainian civilians to Western Europe as they prepared to defend their villages. Later that year, Atlas Air recognized her with a Certificate of Appreciation for her service during Operation Allies Refuge, supporting the airlift of Afghan translators to the United States.

For Anderson, service has never been an abstract concept.

It has been part of her life.

Her Passport Tells Only Part of the Story

Anderson has lived in seven countries and visited 79, building friendships and relationships across cultures throughout her life.

Her experiences have placed her in extraordinary rooms and introduced her to extraordinary people.

She has met five American presidents, King Birendra of Nepal, Nelson Mandela and Mother Teresa, among many others.

She has attended an exclusive co-educational school in England where some of her classmates were princes and children of Hollywood celebrities.

She has worked in Washington on behalf of international human rights, volunteering on Capitol Hill for people she described as “those who do not have a voice.”

She has even spent time in Hollywood.

After joining the Screen Actors Guild in 2000, Anderson worked as an extra in films directed by Steven Spielberg, the Coen Brothers and Oliver Stone, while also appearing regularly on television programs including The West Wing, Dharma & Greg and The Practice.

And then there is the writer.

From the Skies to the Page—and Now to the Microphone

In 2024, Anderson published her first memoir, “On Butterflies’ Wings,” chronicling her remarkable adventures, international friendships and encounters throughout a life lived across continents.

Her second memoir, “Synchronicity – The Escapades Continue,” is planned as the next installment in the series.

Now, Anderson is bringing those experiences to an international audience through “The Global Gratitude Show.”

The program provides her with something she has long understood the value of: a chance to hear people’s stories.

The World Is Full of Stories Worth Hearing

At its heart, The Global Gratitude Show is about people.

It’s about the extraordinary people Anderson has encountered throughout her own journey—and the fascinating people she continues to meet.

The show gives Anderson the opportunity to honor luminaries, explore remarkable life experiences, celebrate human achievement, and discover the stories behind the people who make a difference in the world.

Her unique background gives her an interviewer’s perspective that few hosts can duplicate.

She has sat across from history.

She has traveled through it.

She has served alongside people living through it.

And she has spent decades learning that behind every passport, uniform, title, accomplishment or famous name is a human story waiting to be told.

Gratitude With a Global Perspective

The word “gratitude” isn’t simply part of the show’s title.

It reflects Anderson’s worldview.

After a lifetime of travel, service, adventure, friendship and unexpected encounters, she understands that some of life’s greatest treasures aren’t things we accumulate—they are the people we meet, the experiences we share and the moments we remember.

That philosophy is at the heart of The Global Gratitude Show.

Anderson isn’t simply interviewing guests.

She’s celebrating the journey.

A New Show With a Very Big Story Behind It

While The Global Gratitude Show is a new program, its host is anything but new to extraordinary stories.

Tania Anderson has spent decades crossing borders, cultures and professions.

Her life has taken her from the elegant days of Pan Am to military operations, humanitarian missions, Washington politics, international travel, Hollywood and publishing.

Now, she has found a new way to connect all those chapters.

The Global Gratitude Show is where the escapades continue.

Anderson is excited to share her experiences, honor the remarkable people she has encountered along the way, and introduce audiences to stories that might otherwise never be heard.

Because when you’ve visited 79 countries, lived in seven, crossed paths with presidents and world leaders, flown through history and spent a lifetime meeting fascinating people…

you don’t run out of stories.

You just need a microphone.
